Salary Range: £35,000 – £40,000
Location: Flexible Hybrid between Cheltenham General Hospital, Gloucester Royal Hospital, our Linc Charity Shops and Home. Expectation would be to work from a Linc office 3 days a week.

About the role
You will lead on the implementation and development of fundraising within Linc, maximising income and growing a diverse funding base.
About you
- You already excel in your field or chosen sector. You might not be a professional fundraiser, but you will have the will and the ‘know-how’ to demonstrate transferable skills in your application that relate to this role.
- You will understand fundraising and raising money.
- You have excellent administrative skills and rigorous attention to detail.
- You are bold and enjoy talking and presenting to people, groups and businesses including face to face and online.
Role Responsibilities
- As our Fundraising Manager your key role is to support the income growth of the charity through implementing highly successful fundraising initiatives.
- Lead on and own a fundraising plan that includes the delivery of existing fundraising activity and develop new initiatives based on insight and evidence.
- Implement existing, and lead on the growth and development of new fundraising functions. These include fundraising events (e.g. our annual Polo Day, Cheltenham Triathlon in Partnership with The Lido, various networking days and high value events and other supporter led events).
- Ensure that genuine and heartfelt relationships are built and maintained with all our brilliant supporters and donors.
- Oversee and manage the fundraising budget and have a confident understanding and knowledge of excel.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in teams across the organisation, promoting all our fundraising activities and maximising income generation opportunities.
Person Specification
- Prior experience of working in a fundraising role (paid or voluntary).
- Experience of working with volunteers, and of building and developing relationships.
- Experience of using digital techniques across a variety of social media channels to increase engagement.
- Track record of achieving fundraising income targets across a range of income streams.
- An understanding of corporate fundraising including pitching, relationship management, creating and managing events, researching and securing new corporate relationships and creating compelling business cases/cases of support.
- Experience of developing and managing an events which have generated income.
- An inspiring and engaging communicator with internal colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Ability to work with initiative, think creatively and laterally. Excellent attention to detail.
- Sociable, friendly and keen to work as part of a small tight knit team amidst an organisational culture of pitching in together to make the work happen.
- Keen to take on increasing responsibility, to grow, and to develop practice.
