About the role/job purpose
- Work with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop and deliver corporate fundraising in line with the department strategy aims.
- Responsible for identifying opportunities and prospect research to populate prospect pipeline.
- Responsible for new business development including cold and warm lapsed and uplifting existing partnerships.
- Responsible for day-to-day account management of corporate partnerships including charity of the year, in-kind donations; and payroll giving pro- gramme.
- Maximising income from corporates and ensuring support is strengthened through excellent supporter care and stewardship.
Role Responsibilities
- Work with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver the annual corporate fundraising income target within expenditure budgets.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, which includes identifying, researching and qualifying potential prospects, providing accountmanagement, organising resources, cultivating and stewarding.
- With the support of the Corporate Partnerships Manager prepare and deliver presentations and pitches to companies and attend net- working events.
- Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager with corporate event creation and lead on event administration and delivery.
- Research, write and submit creative and compelling COTY applications, funding proposals and pitch presentations.
- Work with colleagues from the Philanthropy and Partnerships and Community and Events team to develop and coordinate events, and provide excellent stewardship opportunities
- Full responsibility to coordinate, administer and promote payroll giving pro- gramme, including working with Supporter Care team on coding donations, and stewardship of donors and companies.
- Support administrative needs for all corporate partnerships, including record management in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), including establishing new records, recording supporter communications, and coding donations.
- Manage some administrative elements of fundraising appeals as they develop, including support for activities led by senior staff and volunteers.
- Tasks likely to include pledge processing, gift receipts, minute taking, venue booking for meetings.
- Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop, maintain and grow the corporate pipeline, ensuring key recognition, cultivation, stewardship and successes are monitored and tracked.
- Working closely with the Community, Events and Volunteer teams to ensure corporate challenge event participants relationships are well managed, cross team prospects are shared and corporate volunteering opportunities are identified.

Other duties and responsibilities
- Represent TVAA at a variety of events and be an ambassador for TVAA at all times.
- Undertake other duties as may be requested by the Corporate Partnerships Manager, Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, Director of Fundraising or the CEO.
Person Specification
Essential Experience
- New business development including identifying, researching and cold calling prospects.
- Preparing and delivering proposals and presentations for funding.
- High level of administrative and organisational competency.
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
- Confident in speaking to people on the phone and face to face and presenting to people at all levels.
- IT literate with all standard Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- High levels of customer service and account management. Ability to take initiative, prioritise, and organise own work with limited supervision to achieve deadlines for multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Transferable skills from sales/customer service roles or working in a fundraising team.
General
- Positive, enthusiastic and results-driven individual with a can-do attitude.
- Capacity to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, and be comfortable in a changing working environment.
Desirable
- Previous experience working/volunteering in the charity sector.
- Experience working with and securing funding/revenue from corporate partners.
- Understanding of corporate prospect research approach.
- Good understanding of relationship fundraising techniques and corporate social responsibility.
- Knowledge of businesses in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.
- Understanding of medical / emergency services environment.
