About the role/job purpose
- Work with the Philanthropy Manager and Head of Philanthropy and Partner- ships (P&P) to develop and deliver the individuals major giving programme, in line with the Fundraising department strategy aims.
- To be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of mid and high value donors, growing income from donors in this income stream,
- To identify prospects for the major donor pipeline.
- Project management and delivery of major, mid, and high value donor special events.
Role Responsibilities
- Work with the Philanthropy Manager to deliver the annual major donor fundraising income target within expenditure budgets.
- Support the Philanthropy Manager to secure four and five figure gifts and build multi-year and regular giving donations from mid, high, and major value donors.
- Support administrative needs for all major donor partnerships and record management in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), including establishing new records, recording supporter communications, and coding donations.
- Establish, develop, and manage relationships with existing and potential major donors through excellent engagement and stewardship, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls and events.
- In collaboration with the Philanthropy Manager, develop bespoke communications for mid and high value donors, including writing proposals for funding and reports and evaluation.
- Undertake GDPR compliant prospect research to grow the major donor pipe- lines and accurately target content, ask, and messaging.
- Manage a portfolio of High-Net-Worth individual supporters. This includes identifying, researching, and qualifying potential prospects, providing account management, organising resources, cultivating, and stewarding.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and pitches as required and attend net- working events.
- Support the Philanthropy Manager to coordinate and deliver major donor communications including letters, emails, newsletters, impact reports, and organise meetings, visits, and webinars.
- Support the Philanthropy Manager with special event creation and lead of event administration and delivery.
- Work with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships and Philanthropy and Partnerships team to develop and coordinate multiple audience events, including managing event administration tasks, invitations, on the day support and follow up communications.
- Cross team liaison to ensure the donor relationships are well managed, cross team prospects are shared and opportunities maximised, delivering excellent relationship building and stewardship opportunities.

- Represent TVAA at a variety of events and be an ambassador for TVAA at all times.
- Undertake other duties as may be requested by the Corporate Partnerships Manager, Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, Director of Fundraising or the CEO.
Person Specification
Essential Experience
- Previous experience in fundraising/ sales-driven environment.
- Be able to demonstrate experience of building and maintaining constructive professional relationships with a wide range of people over an extended period of time.
- Previous experience of prospect/pipeline research
- Proven experience of client/ stakeholder management.
Skills & Knowledge
- IT literate with all standard Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High levels of customer service.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritise, and organise own work to achieve deadlines for multiple tasks.
