Celebrating 50 years o f helping greyhounds in their transition from racing, matching them to homes where they will thrive in their retirement, the Greyhound Trust is embracing the rapid changes both in the greyhound racing industry and in wider society. The Trust has an annual income of c.£4.5m which enables us to find loving homes for thousands
of greyhounds that retire from racing every year.
We need to build a strong financial foundation that will allow us to care for and home even more greyhounds both today and in the future, engaging new supporters and motivating existing ones to continue their support.
The organisation has a small, dynamic structure. Your line manager will be the Head of Income Generation & Engagement, Justin Horton. Justin has over 30 years of senior management experience in the Third Sector, including Head of Income at Hope Rescue and Chief Executive of homelessness charity, Emmaus south Wales.
About the role
This is an exciting new role within our growing income generation and engagement team. We are seeking an Individual Giving Manager who will take the lead in developing, testing, learning and growing the direct marketing programme and developing supporter journeys.
The Individual Giving Manager will also be responsible for developing and delivering the stewardship programme. As this is a brand new role there is plenty of scope to develop the approach, for an ambitious fundraiser this could be a career defining role.
